Garden Design
ZDA integrates container gardens, entry gardens, raingardens and all-season perennial garden designs into the landscapes we design. We choose the right plant for the right place to make low maintenance gardens that increase sustainability and diversity, improve water drainage, and bring all season color and beauty into your landscape.
Sustainability
This award-winning garden design encompasses the entire property: visitors are led to the front door and around the property to the back yard. Lush gardens provide continuous bloom throughout the growing season. The focal point in the backyard is the central rain garden (slide 4) that captures significant amounts of neighborhood stormwater.
Site Development
ZDA assisted this client in selecting the site and architect. Once the site was chosen, ZDA assisted with planning, permitting, driveway design and engineering, landscape architecture, custom pillar and ironwork design, and garden design which allowed this rural writer’s retreat to develop naturally out of its 11-acre site.
